MADE TO MEASURE CURTAINS
Our made to measure curtains are cut to your exact width and drop, so they hang properly and fit awkward windows that standard sizes can't. Choose from plains, prints, sheers and designer fabrics from names including Cath Kidston, Orla Kiely and Emily Bond. Not sure about a fabric? Order up to 5 free samples from our free sample service; they arrive in 2 to 3 working days, and delivery on made to measure orders over £150 is free.
Choosing a heading
The heading is the top of the curtain and decides how the fabric falls. Pencil pleat, in 3 inch or 6 inch depths, is the classic gathered style for poles and tracks, made at 200% fullness. Double pinch pleat (200%) and triple pinch pleat (260%) look tailored, with pleat groups about 10cm apart. Eyelet curtains slide straight onto a pole in deep, even folds at 150% fullness. Wave headings hang in soft, regular curves and are made for a track. Our curtain heading guide compares them in detail.
Plain, print or sheer?
Plain curtains are easy to live with and let other things in the room take centre stage. Prints bring colour and character, and work best where the walls and furniture are fairly simple. Sheers soften light and give daytime privacy, though they can't be lined, so plenty of rooms pair a sheer with a lined curtain. Compare our plain curtains and print curtains, or come and feel the fabrics at our showroom on Green Lane Road, Leicester.
